Parish Council 2011

The results of the 2011 Whitwell Parish Council elections on 5th May 2011 were announced on Friday 6th May 2011 and were as follows:

  1. 596 votes – George Owen Webster (Whitwell Residents Association)
  2. 526 votes – Stuart Maiden (Whitwell Residents Association)
  3. 520 votes – Sandra Valerie Frow (Indepedent)
  4. 513 votes – Vivienne Patricia Mills (Whitwell Residents Association)
  5. 494 votes – Thomas Ian Munro (Labour)
  6. 470 votes – Scott Ellis (Labour)
  7. 454 votes – Jeanne Marjorie Raspin (Labour)
  8. 437 votes – Julie Burdett (Labour)
  9. 434 votes – Frank Philip Raspin (Labour)
  10. 416 votes – Simon Charles Burdett (Labour)
  11. 408 votes – Kenneth Astle (Whitwell Residents Association)
  12. 393 votes – Steven Greaves (Whitwell Residents Association)
  13. 392 votes – Janet Mary Astle (Whitwell Residents Association)
  14. 329 votes – Amanda Jayne Beamish (Whitwell Residents Association)
  15. 309 votes – Karl Peter Hill Austin (Whitwell Residents Association)
  16. 29 Spoilt Ballots

The outcome means that the Whitwell Residents Association no longer holds a majority on the Parish Council with 7 seats, now holding only 3 of 8.

All results come in to effect Monday 9th May, with the first Parish Council meeting of the newly formed council taking place on Wednesday 18th May 2011.
