Earlier today at the 2011 Whitwell Village Gala the “Whitwell Welly Wanging Champion 2011” was crowned. Thomas was presented with his Golden Welly as a prize for getting his pair of wellies in to the target box. Well done Thomas, long may your reign continue.
Congratulations to Tim and all the staff at the Chip Inn, Whitwell on gaining 5 stars last week in their food hygeine assesment. Previously they held 4 stars out of the maximum of 5.
